Show MORE HORRORS. The Russian army of the Caucasus having been withdrawn from Armenia, Turkish troops are once more in possession pos-session aud the worst is feared. As a preliminary to the general slaughter of the primitire Christians which is regarded re-garded as absolutely certain, the Turkish Turk-ish government is sending out reports accusing the Armenians of all sorts of crimes. In the early part of the war hundreds of thousands of Armenians were butchered butch-ered by the fanatic hordes of Turks and Kurds. Multitudes of aged men and women and little children starved to death, while the young women and girls were reserved for a worse fate. Xow the remnant of the race is to undergo similar experiences owing to the craven deeds of the Bolshevik government at Petrograd. It is said that the German imperialists imperial-ists will not lift a finger to save these unfortunate people and the entente navies are unable to get an army into the country. Therefore, the world should be prepared to learn' of additional addi-tional horrors at any time. But a day of reckoning will come for the Turks as well as the Germans, a day when they will plead for mercy and seek to cover up their diabolical crimes. Just now they are able? to revel in the blood I of the Armenians, Belgians and other j unfortunate peoples. Yet a little longer ' and they will pay the penalty. |
