Rpinoval of the restrictions on lead producers, effective tomorrow, ivho are now free to quote prices individually, was announced here today to the trade by the lead producers' committee for war service, which was formed some months ago at the request of the chairman of the war industries board. The coniniiti ee sine September 1 has been acting hs the selling agency for all lead producers and, in announcing the resumption re-sumption of a free marker, it was stated there would be no restrictions on resales. From September 1 to December I. inclusive, inclu-sive, the price of lead, f. o. b. New York, had been per hundred weight a nd ?7.;f. f. o. l. St. Louis. On V'cpniber 2 the prie went down SL per hundredweight in both these cities.
