Show POLICEMAN CHARGED WITH BEATING BOY Juvenile Court Issues Complaint That Officer Contributes to De- linquency. Alleged to hHve beaten Stanley Young, 12 years of age, Patrolman William Wil-liam F. Crow of the police department is charged with contributing to the delinquency de-linquency of a minor in a complaint issued is-sued yesterday from the iuvenile court. The boy is a son of William Young of 1918 Douglas avenue. He was participating par-ticipating Thursday night in a chari-, van at the home of the policeman, 2010 Thirteenth East street. The two sisters of Mrs. Crow had just participated as brides in a double wedding and were at tho policeman's residence. According to the information given Ben R. Harries, chief juvenile court officer, of-ficer, Patrolman Crow struck Stanley Young and others of the boys in driving them away from his place. The boy's father took him to the county attorney's attor-ney's office yesterday and was sent to the juvenile court, where a complaiut was obtained. Patrolman Crow was charged with rough handling of a boy, Raymond Milan, Mi-lan, a year or more since. The matter was finally adjusted, however, and he retained his position on tho police force. |
