Much of the regular course work Riven at the l;tah 'Agricultural 'Agricul-tural college will he accepted by the wir department for credits in military work according to information issued by the i partment. This is important, an it means that students may lake the full course proscribed pro-scribed by the government for all members mem-bers in the senior division of the reserve officers' training: corps, of which an Infantry In-fantry unit has been established at the college, and secure at the sume time work that will be accepted by the institution as credit to war d the regular academic degree. Courses in history, hygiene, sanitation, first aid. engineering, sketching. map making, law. economics, mathematics, and many others contain so much necessary neces-sary in the t rami ne: of a commissioned officer that they will he allowed to count as part of the theoretical military training. |
