The exhibits consisted ol' garden gar-den a 1 1 I farm proclm-ts, farm animals inl prcservin;,' and cunning and sew-in. sew-in. The exhibit was a surprise to the y.i trims and officials uf the sehools and showed marvelous results of the agriculture agri-culture campaign during the previous tu-honl season and summer. A number of the exhibits showed exceptional merit. Max Marshall, the boy who won first prize at the state, fair on potatoes pota-toes l-isl sear, ivnn the first prize at the school' lair :.ud will be a close com--petitor lor first at the state institution, institu-tion, lie has, however, a number of close rivals to the coveted prize. Lil-linn Lil-linn Ormc won the general first for girls and Nelson l?:itr-s the first general gen-eral prize for boys. These two students will represent Tooele county at the state fair school fur Boys '"and Girls' clubs. The rest cxnibils will go to the state fair and compete for prizes there. Tooele county expects to be well represented. rep-resented. The men hauls of the community responded re-sponded generously to the awarding of ' the prizes. Some of the pure-bred hogs which were shipped in here last spring were on exhibition and will be taken to the state fair. All the products were the work of the bovs and jirls and showed what can iie' done with a little stimulus. As far ns ihe farm products is concerned Tooele is well taken care of. |
