As a subject of conversation, the Rossip about possible and accepted candidate? for election to the two eommissionerships that will be vacant and the office of city auditor is picking up daily, especially in municipal circles. Ac the time of the appointment of Ste- j phen B. Newman as successor to former Commissioner W. H. Shearman. It was generally understood that Commissioners Newman and Wells would be running mates at the next election. Now tiie word is that thre ia to be a Republican ticket for the three oftices to be filled. A. H. Cra bbe. former county commissioner, commis-sioner, is reported to be a prospective Republican candidate for election as a city commissioner, while T. L.
