HOLMES TO TALK TO HARVARD CLUB University Staff Professor to Be Speaker at Complimentary Dinner and Address Local Members. Tomorrow evening at the University club the Harvard club of Utah will give a complimentary dinner to Professor Henry Hen-ry W. Holmes of Harvard. Professor Holmes is a member of the department of education at Harvard and is touring the country in the interests of his department. de-partment. He will arrive in Salt Lake City this afternoon and expects to remain re-main here until Friday for the purpose of Investigating the Utah schools. At the dinner Professor Holmes will address the Utah Harvard men. The Utah Harvard club numbers nearly 100 men and was organized a year ago, primarily for the purpose of creating a scholarship fund with which to assist some Utah boy wbo is studying at Harvard. Har-vard. During- the present year the club has sent $300 to Veni C. Woolley, now studying in the graduate school of business busi-ness administration at Harvard. It is the ambition of the Utah Harvard club to give this scholarship to some Utah man annually. It Is particularly desired that 'men who would enter the freshman class at Harvard Har-vard college should apply for this fund. In the absence of a satisfactory freshman candidate, the scholarship Is awarded to some other man.
