Show MR COUNTY OIL BTO ACTIVE Salt Lake, Provo and Heber City Men Plan to Begin Drilling in Spring. J. W. Musser, who Is associated with several prominent business men of Salt Lake,' Provo and Ileber City in developing develop-ing oil property in Uintah county, is in Vernal this week, says the Vernal Ex-preEs. Ex-preEs. Accompanying Mr. Musser was Glenn M. Ruby, a noted geologist of Denver, Den-ver, Colo. Mr. Ruby was mere looking over the oil situation and checking up on geological conditions. He left for the east on Monday lait. He was sufficiently impressed im-pressed to promise a return trip during Lhe early part of 1918, and expressed the opinion that an oil boom Is due for the basin. Mr. Musser is representing a group of men who have several claims in Uintah county. It is the intention of this company com-pany to commence drilling in tho spring. A mong the men associated in tiiis company com-pany are Joseph R. Murdock and J. C. Jensen of Heber City; Professor George H. Brimhall and Joseph B. Keeler of Provo; A. K. Crabbe. A. H. Woolley, M. C. Godbe, Dr. (Raphael Olsen. Dr. John T. White and Lyman IL Martlneau of Salt Lake.
