Show lira COMING. 10 M. BENEFIT British Commander of Recruiting Re-cruiting Mission Will Be Bazaar Guest. Alajor C. S. Manchester, officer in command of the British and Canadian recruiting mission, located at San Francisco, Fran-cisco, will visit Salt Lake in the near future. He comes under the auspices of the Britannic association of this city, and arrangements are being made for his presence at the forthcoming grand British bazaar .December , 5 and ti at Unity hall. Booths are to be provided for the exhibits ex-hibits of several local firms, among which are Utah Gas & Coke company, Klliott Clark Victrola company, .1. G. McDonald Candy company, Freed Furniture Fur-niture company, Spalding's sporting goods, and useful and desirable articles are being donated by many of the prominent firms in the city ana1 by the ladies of the association. Half hour concerts are to be a feature, the following artists having promised to lend their aid: Horace S. Ensign, Professor George K. Skelton, B. B. Brewster, Brew-ster, Miss NelUe Hasbrouck, Miss Elsie Sjiiller, Charles M. Ilussey, James H. Nielson, dames . Monearr, the Misses Jewel fOd ding ton and Beth James in fancy dancing, the Ukulele quartette. John Donaldson, Professor Leonard Voting. L. D. S. quartette, John James, Ronald Nichols, Mrs. Schick, W. M. Langdon and others. Exhibitions of fancy dancing will be given by Professor Profes-sor Carl Gumbmann. Former Governor Spry, Governor Bamberger, Senator Reed Smoot, Senator Sena-tor W. H. King, Congressman Welling are invited guests and will make brief addresses. |
