Show SUBMARINE SINKS AMERICAN STEAMER Torty Men of the Crew Landed at Mediterranean Med-iterranean Port; French Vessel Ves-sel Sunk. WASHINGTON, Nov. 24. The American Amer-ican steamer Schuylkill has boen torpedoed tor-pedoed and sunk in the Mediterranean. The navy department was advised today that forty men of her crew had been landed at a Mediterranean port. There was no naval armed guard aboard.
