Show Brussiloff Wounded. PISTROORAD, Nov. 2;!, Fridav. The wound sustained by General Brussiloff, former Russian commander in chief, at Moscow recently was the result of a shell exploding in the corridor of his house. Two fraKments entered the general's Ick below the knee, breaking the bone. It is now believed amputation can be avoided. Before the general was wounded, soldier sol-dier had forced an entrance to his house and demanded to be allowed to search the dwelling, declaring someone was firing from It. The men left, apparently ap-parently convinced by General BrussllotT of their error. |
