Show imlra in Salt Lake Homestead Gives Big Entertainment at the Moose Hall. .M:ont three hundred Yeomen child ron attended the Christmas festival given by S.ilt Lake Homestead No. :it Hie Moose hall last Friday afternoon. Fanta Clans was there with a well filled stock-ii.c stock-ii.c for every child and all wont home h:KliJy pleaded for having been present. (n the evening the regular monthly soda! so-da! dance was enjoyed by a large attendance at-tendance of members ho were unable to lie present in the afternoon with the children. Next Friday night, January 4, will be the first regular meeting of the new '.car. -Much important business will be transacted besides the initiation of a large class. All members are urged to be present. pres-ent. rfeagull Homestead No. last Thurs day evening held one of the most important impor-tant business meetings that has been held for some time, and we are expecting veat tilings from It. Vr"rrhe meeting was well attended and all present were well pleased with the manner man-ner in which the meeting was carried through, and there is no doubt but what No. uG8 will in a very short lime make some very rapid advancement, as there are a few live wires who are making every effort to interest all in our work and ore meeting with a very gratifying success. We trust that all members who chance to read this will lose no time in attend-ns attend-ns our next regular meeting, as I here will be something of great importance to all. New applications are being acted upon weekly and there will Vie a class for adoption next meeting night. State Manna Man-na er Wolfe announced that a grand prize was bping offered by the grand foreman, and all homesteads are to bo considered according to membership; therefore it is ihe duty of every loyal member to do his bit, so now let's all work for a big finish for the next two months. It's our order, and It's to our interest to see Jt grow; o If you have not been doing much in the past, let's all make up for it now. Also wish to announce that on Thursday Thurs-day evening, January 17, we are going to hold our fourth of a series of dances in the way of an old-fashioned hard times ball. The committee in charge is making every effort possible to make this the grandest success of all. and it is the duty of all members to assist all possible. There will be good music and prizes will ho awarded to the best hard times characters char-acters present. So do not fail to attend, as a good time will no doubt be enjoyed by all. A cordial welcome is extended to all Yeomen, their friends and the public. |
