Show WATCH PARTIES IE PLAlEDBy ORDERS Elk$ and Eagles Will Hold Separate Celebrations at Clubhouses. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, pec.. 30. With the expectation expecta-tion that the entertainments will be attended at-tended by fully as many persons as in former years, despite certain alterations in the programme as to refreshments, several organizations in Ogden have planned to hold Nesy- Tear's. eve celebra tions Monday night. Members of Osden lodtre No. 710, B. P. O. Elks, and Ogden aerie No. 118, Fraternal Order of Eagles, will celebrate In their respective club homes on Grant avenue. Churches and other organizations have planned watch parties. ' In the case of the Elks, members of the organization in this city will have their choice of two New Tear's eve cele brations. The entertainment committee of the lodge ia sponsoring a celebration at the club home here and "Stray Elks'' of Of-'den lodge at Evaneton, Wyo., have issued a blanket invitation to their brother broth-er Elks In Ogden to attend their celebration cele-bration over the line, which will be a banquet and dance. The local celebration celebra-tion by the Elks will take the form of a dancing party and cabaret entertainment. The Eagles have planned to open their entire club home to members of the order on Monday night. There will be dancing in the lodge ballroom from 9 p. m. to 1 a. m. They will also hold, a dancing party Tuesday night and the annual installation in-stallation of officers of the aerie will take place Wednesday nir.ht. The Wber club is among the Opden organizations organ-izations that have dispensed with the usual New Year's celebration for members mem-bers this year. |
