Show THE HAGUE, via London. Jan. 7, 19:05 p. m. Two hundred and ten members mem-bers of the Henry Ford peace expedition will reach The Hague Saturday morn-: ing. Arrangements were completed to-! day by a Local committee to welcome j them at tiie railway station. The arrangements so far made for tbo ! party include public meetings in the j zoological gardens. No restrictions have been pined by the authorities upon their proceedings, as was the ease in Denmark. Den-mark. The attitude of the Dutch hu-thorities hu-thorities toward the party may be described de-scribed as benevolently passive. The American legation today authorized author-ized the following stntement: 'This legation will be delighted io extend to the Ford peace party, as private pri-vate American citizens traveling abroad, all the courtesies to which they are entitled. en-titled. They will have the opportunirv to see some of the treasures of Dutch pointing and architecture and doubtle? will have a peaceful, instructive stay in Holland as American tourists."' |
