Show SKULL OF WOMAN PLACED IN EVIDENCE Man Charged With Wife-murder Shudders Shud-ders When Grewsome Exhibit Is Taken Into Court. MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Jan. 7. Frederick T. Price, a local business wen, shuddered today as the skull of Ins wife, for whose murder he is on trial, was placed upon a table before Inm while medical experts testified that the iniuries resulting in death could not have been caused bv a fall from the East river road cliff. They declared tiiat death apparently was due to blows on the head. When court adjourned tonight until Monday a dozen witnesses had testified in support of the state's charge that Price hurled his third wife from a cliff on the night of November 2S. 1914. and then went below and crushed her fkull. in the hope of inheriting ber fortune. The state expects to complete its presentation nf evidence next Tuesdav with the tftimcmy of Charles D. Ktcli-i-on. who. after his arrest on a joint indictment with Price, swore that Price lulled his wife and save him $4700 for his silence. |
