Show CANDIDATES CHOSEN $Y THE SOCIALISTS Mass Convention Is Held at Spring-vilie Spring-vilie and Selections Made; No Attorney Available. SPRING VIL.LR. Sept. 21. At a mass convention of Socialists of Utah county, held here today, candidates for the lower house of the legislature and for county offices were nominated and a campaign committee for Utah county was named. A. I j. Porter of Sprlngvilie was made chuirnian of Lhe campaign committee, and I-;. N. Jordan of Springville was elected secretary. The committee is composed of me member from each town to be selected later. R. J. Merrill of Payson was elected permanent per-manent chairman of the convention, and F. X. Jordan of Springville was elected permanent seereiary. Representatives to tiie lower house of lhe legislature wore chosen as follows: Charles T. Martin, Springville ; James Spencer. American Forks; Henjamin Stahl-naiy Stahl-naiy Spanish Fork; J-iuher Christinas, Lakr Shore. County office candidates were named as ''nllowp; Commissioner, four -year term Benjamin Grolienger.
