Idaho, Sept. 04 .At the meeting of the directors and managers of the Snake River Baseball Base-ball league, recently held in St. Anthony. An-thony. he pennant donated by the Chase Furniture Co. was awarded to the St. Anthony club, which has made one of the best records of an;' team In the league for (he season of 1916, finishing with a percentage of .762.. The league's financial standing was in a flourishing condition and a neat dividend was declared after all expenses of the league were sf-t lied, and tentative plans were laid for the season of 1017. The attendance at-tendance for the whole season of 1916 was much above 1 hat which was anticipated and the brand of ball was the fastest ever played in the KuaUe River valley and kept the fans on edge right up till the last games of the season. Many young players were developed to a degree where they may go up. |
