Show FARMER IS KILLED AT GRADE CROSSING POCATFT..LO. Ida., Sept. 24. Ferdinand Ferdi-nand Heberlin. aged 61) year, was instantly instant-ly killed when his automobile was struck by a light extra westbound engine at a grade crossing- one mile east of Topaz station about 6 o'clock this evening. His son, John Heheilin, 25 years of agf. who was driving the ear; Jessie Heberlin, his wife; Klizabeth Heberlin. their .l-months-old baby; Isaac I f. Petrle. H0 years of age, and Mary Peine, his wife, 'were all seriously injured and are now lying un conscious in the Poeutetlo general hospital. hos-pital. Dr. F.. N. Roberts, local surgeon of the Oregon Short Dine, states that they will probably recover. The members of t he party reside near American Falls am were returning from a trip to Lava Hot Springs, where they had spent the day. As the crossing where the accident occurred oc-curred is ievel and unobstructed it is thought that the driver must have lost control of his car.
