A complete electors' elec-tors' Progressive party state ticket was placed in nomination in Idaho through the third party vote ca-st in Nez Perce county, a number of the candidates for congressional and state office named being be-ing the same as candidates either successful suc-cessful or unsuccessful at Lhe Republican and Democratic primaries held this month. The attitude of the secretary of state's office is that such a tickeL cannot be recognized under the law, and unless a te't is made it probably will not be. In Nez Perce county there was a three-cornered three-cornered contest for nomination on the legislative and county tickets. The Progressives Pro-gressives failed to nominate by nominations nomina-tions filed with the recorder and the payment pay-ment of nomination fees. The attorney general held that the nominations made bv petition did not hold, but indicated that names could be written in on the ballots of the legislative and county nominees at the primary election. This was done. The Progressive voters in Nez Perce county, however, went farther and voted for a larse number of congressional and state candidates on the tickets of the two old parties. The' ticket placed in nomination as shown by the records with the secretary of state is as follows: Representative in congress Robert M. McCracken and E. E. Elliott, thirteen votes each. Governor D. W. Davis, sixteen votes. Lieutenant governor B. M. Holt, nine votes. Secretary of state George R. Barker, five voles; Chancey Wallace, five votes. State auditor Clarence Van Deusen, seven votes. Bell, thirty-seven votes. ' Nonpartisan Justice of supreme court Robert X. Piinn, thirty-seven votes; John C. Rice, 'thirty-two votes.
