The Excelsior bunch outplayed out-played the Rubbers at all stages of the ga me. and after the first inning were never in danger of losing. Burt pitched a nice game for the winners, win-ners, keeping his opponents' hits scattered. scat-tered. He fielded his position in big league style and got a single and triple in three times at bat. Ham, Higham and Moore also got two hits each. Class v running catches by La Belle and Linde-berg Linde-berg were the fielding features.
