Show UTAH DELEGATES TO MEET HERE THURSDAY Two cases of alleged bootlegging resulted result-ed in two arrests yesterday afternoon. J. McKenna, 57 years of age, "laborer," was taken into custody shortly after 4 o'clock at Second South and West Temple streets by Officer Merrick. McKenna had in his possession a bottle of whisky which It is alleged he was trying to dispose of to Percy Moore, E2, who was booked under un-der a charge of Intoxication. Two hours later Officer Merrick arrested ar-rested C. R. Durst, 44 yearB of age, a butcher, at Second South and Fourth West streets. In this case Merrick also secured possession of a bottle of liquor found in the hands of the prisoner. Both men are charged with violating the state liquor law. |
