Show STAKE CONFERENCE IS HELD AT PROVO Representatives of General Church Authorities Au-thorities Deliver Addresses; President Presi-dent Keeler Makes Report. Special to The Tribune. PROVO. April 30. The representatives of the general church authorities attending attend-ing the quarterly stalte conference here today, were Apostle A. W, Ivins and President H. H. Roberts. Elder Roberts delivered two discourses, both doctrinal, one on prayer and one on the resurrection. resurrec-tion. Apostle Ivlns delivered a strong prohibition address, showing the evils re- suiting- from the use of liquor, and urging the people to elect men who would enact and enforce prohibition laws. He was supported In this position bv President Joseph R. Keeler and J. William Knight of the stake presidency. President Joseph Lt. Keeler submitted a, comparative quarterly report Tor the past three months with the same period for 1915. There is an Increase of 3 per cent in amount of tithing paid and 12 per cent in Uthepayers. There has been distributed dis-tributed in charity relief $160. R7. There are 2881 families In the stake, which comprises com-prises eighteen wards and two branches.
