Show 111 DEFEATS CLEVELAND IN L01CG0ITEST Set Goes Twenty-two Games in State Tennis Tourna-ment; Tourna-ment; Many Matches Staged. Twelve matches were played in the Vtah state tennis tournament at the Salt J.ake Tennis club yesterday afternoon, comprising contests in men's singles and doubles and women's singles. It was the most important day of the tournament so far, both in the number of matches played and the unusually clot-.? scores. The feature match of the duy was the contest between C. Lund and A. D. Cleveland, Cleve-land, which was won by the former. Lund took the first set with comparative ease, but Cleveland put up a most determined fight in the second set. In all, twenty-two twenty-two games were required to settle the match, Lund winning'. 12-10. The onlv match which went three sets was played by F. I. Jansen and Malcolm Keyser. Jansen won the first, 6-2; Keyser Key-ser took the second, 6-2, and Jansen the final, 6-3. The Results. The complete results follow: Men's Singles, first round F. I.
