Show NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE WANTS MORE GROUND R?queht was made of the city commits com-mits ion yesterday morning hv Mrs. A. R. Graham and Mrs. L. C. Miller thai , the city purchase ground adjoining tho J Neighborhood house, 7v.1 Vest Fifth ! South street, to be added to the play-! play-! grounds. The explanation was offered that the grounds have become too small because of the demands upon the Neighborhood house since its institution. A piece of ground adjoining might he had for ISOO, thereby effecting an enlargement of the playgrounds by the addition of a strip 2'S 'by 20 rods, according to the representations of the two women. The matter was referred to the committee com-mittee of the whole for consideration. |
