Show LEWISTON TO HAVE GREAT CELEBRATION Special to The Tribune. LEWISTON, June 25. The following programme has been arranged for the big celebration to be held here July 4: Firing of cannon at davbreak, William A. Blair, M. O. Bell; hoisting of flag at sunrise, Clem Rawlins; band concert at 8:30 a. m., Hyde Park band; auto parade at 9 a. m. Meeting at 10 a. m. Music, band ; prayer, W. A. Boman ; muic, Lewiston orchestra; reading of Declaration of Independence, F. M. Stephenson, Jr.; violin vio-lin solo. Reginald Beals; music, band ; 'Loyally to American Flag," J. C. Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Jr., vocal solo. William Worley; oration, ora-tion, Nephi L. Morris; music, band; prayer, chaplain. Afternoon programme Picture show, 1 o'clock; foot races, boys and girls, 2 o'clock; tug-of-war, climbing greasy pole, push ball contest, etc.; baseball game, Lewiston vs. Downey, 4 o'clock; band concert at 6 o'clock. Grand ball at night, with music by the Lewiston orchestra and Hyde Park band. |
