Show U. S. SAFETY FIRST TRAIN REACHES CITY Crowds Visit Government Exhibits; Will Remain in O. S. L. Yards ; Until Monday. The United States government " safety safe-ty first" train, including nine cars of exhibits, representing Beven governmental govern-mental departments and the American Red Cross society, arrived here on schedule yesterday morning over the Oregon Short Line and was thrown open for public inspection at 1 o 'clock in the afternoon. From the time the train was opened until it was closed at 9 o'clock last night the cars were crowded crowd-ed with persons interested in what the federal government is doing to protect the health and lives of its citizens. The train was parked in the Oregon Short Line passenger yards, where it is easily accessible from First South street, and it will remain in this location loca-tion until Monday night. The train will not be open today, but will be open to-from to-from 1 o'clock in the afternoon until 9 o'clock tomorrow night. It will leave here Monday night for Sidney, Neb., on the Union Pacific. The officials in charge of the various exhibits will he the guests of Union Pacific system officials offi-cials today on an automobile tour of the city and a trip to Saltair.
