Show Farr Pleads Not Guilty. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN", Au?. 19. Charles L. Farr, one of the candidates for the nomination fo district attorney at the Democratic convention con-vention for the Second judicial district yesterday, plea-led not guilty to a charge of disturbing the peace when arraigned before Acting Judge Samuel C. Powell In the municipal court this morning. His trial was set for next Wednesday morning. Farr was arrested by Patrolman T. H. Blackburn, one of the police officers stationed sta-tioned In the Alhambra theater during the Democratic convention yesterday. According Ac-cording to the officer, Farr lighted a cigar while standing in one of the aisles and refused to cease smoking when requested request-ed to io so by the patrolman. Farr is a son-in-law of S. S. Smith, chairman of the Democratic county central committee. |
