Show GILMER PARK WILL GET IMPROVEMENTS Edward D. Smith & Sons state that building operations in Gilmer Park have been greatly handicapped during tho summer owinr to the lack of Btreet improvements. im-provements. However, they feel that the worst is over. The water mains have been laid, the street pavement contract let and bids ou the sewer are now being asked for. Tho improvements will be completed this fall. Notwithstanding the lack of improvements, improve-ments, there are three very artistic homes now nearing completion on Michigan Mich-igan avenue, and several others are un ' der completion. The inquiry for lots in this addition continues brisk and this firm is very optimistic regarding fall business. Since the advent of the motor car street paving is an absolute necesitv, and it is almost impossible to sell hiii-class hiii-class homos or homcsites off of paed streets. Therefore, as soon as the street improvements are completed, Gilmer Park is certain to build up rapidly. |
