Show FUNERAL SERVICE FOR JOHN BROUGH Friends of Long Standing Pay Tribute and Singers Give Some Beautiful Beauti-ful Selections. Funeral services for John Brough. aged Si who died at ":6 Sixth avenue, this city last Frldav. were held at the chape! of ' the Joseph William Taylor funeral establishment, at 10:30 a. m. yesterday. There was a large turnout of friends and sympathizers. The services were conducted by David R. Lvon. bishop of the Twentieth ward. The "opening prayer was offered by C. Clarence Neslen, bishop nf the Twentieth ward, and the benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Elder Charles W. Symon The speakeis. all of whom spoke of the honor, sincerity and integrity of the deceased de-ceased during his lifetime, were George Buckle. Bishop Neslen. Charles W. Svmons and Bishop Lyon. Music was furnished by Miss Pearl 1 Arson, who sang "Oh. Dry Those Tears" and "Resignation." and John James, who gave the famous Mormon hymn. "Oh. My Father" and "When the Swallows Homeward Fly." The pallbearers, all old-time friends Of the deceased, were A. W. Harvey, V. Harvey. J. F. Harvey, II. F. Clark. ,J. F. Taylor and B. A. Lawrence. Interment was in the City cemetery. John Brough was lorn in Durham county. coun-ty. England. March 13. 1881, and had been a resident of Salt Lake City eltice 1S66. He is survived by his wife and t hree children. Edward Brough of Los Angeles, Fred Brough of Salmon. Ida ho, and Mrs. William Llovd of this city. |
