BRINTON DIES jlJOLLIY Was Well Known as Blacksmith, Black-smith, Conducting Shop on County Road. Joseph Hammond Brinton. 63 years of age, who for many years operated a blacksmith shop at what Is known as Brinton 's corner. Seventeenth South street and the country road, died yesterday yes-terday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home in Holliday. His wife and a large family of sons and daughters survive him, together with many brothers and sisters. Mr. Brinton was a son of David B. and Harriet D. Brinton. He filled two missions for the Mormon church during his life, the first being to England, where he presided over the Liverpool conference, confer-ence, and the second to the Sandwich Islands. The surviving sons and daughters daugh-ters are .1. E. Brinton of Ely. New; Samuel Sam-uel H. Brinton. William H. Brinton. Mi's. Milton Boam and Mrs. J. T. Hill of Churchill. Idaho; Mrs. O. T. Jensen, Mrs. T. O. Gunderson and Mrs. H. K. Driggs, ail of Holiday. The surviving brothers and sisters are Caleb D. Brinton, Hyrum B. Brinton. William R. Brinton, Robert N. Brinton. Mrs. Laurence Young and Mrs. George Burbldge of Salt Lake: David B. Brinton and Franklin D. Brinton of Hol-lldav. Hol-lldav. and Mrs. Hvnim Ba'glev and Mrs. Vincent Shurtliff of Big Cottonwood. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed and will be announced an-nounced later. |
