Show PARALLEL FISSURE CUT ON RELATOR High-grade Ore Body Improving; Im-proving; Keystone Tunnel Tun-nel Exposes Rich Vein. Special to The Trihune. PARK CITY. Sept. 12. Values are improving im-proving with depth on the property of the Revelator Mining company In the Snake Creek district, according to Superintendent Super-intendent S. Hair and Robert Goriinski. About five feet of Becond class ore was cut recently in a fissure parallel to the one in which the high-grade ore Is being be-ing followed. The high-grade ore body is becoming wider as the work progresses. Local men interested in the Reed's Peak property, located In the Big Cotton--Od district, have been receiving good news from J. Springer, in charge of the work. The main breast of the tunnel is showing considerable mineralization and there has recently been encountered a larger amount of water. Indicating that the country just beyond the present breast is either of a broken nature or contains an open fissure. ' At the Iowa-Copper Copper-Apex properly prop-erly strong fissure is being followed. The fissure, which is about four feet in width. contains considerable mineral mixed through the vein material. During Dur-ing the last twenty-five feet of progress average samples have tetnrned 3.1 ounces in silver. 5.4 per cent In copper, 6.9 per cent in zinc and $1.20 In gold to the ton. An assessment of 2 cents per share has been levied on the outstanding stock of the Naildriver company and the secretary reports that work is to he resumed. re-sumed. A vein of high-grarle ore has been encountered en-countered in the face of the tunnel on the Keystone property and according to the officials of the company power is to be installed at the property later on and a systematic campaign of development w'ork started. The ore struck In the tunnel tun-nel is near the surface but shows every indication of going down strong. |
