Hundreds of sorrowing sorrow-ing friends, including many from Salt Iake City, attended the funeral serv Ices this afternoon for Mrs. Bessie Dean Allison, Alli-son, wife of Will la m Allison, who died st her home In this city Thursday evening. even-ing. The servh-es were conducted In the Ogden tabernacle at 2 o'clock, with Bishop Bish-op Robert lloQuarrte of the Second ward officiating Mrs. Allison had been well known In musical circles of the ataie for the greater great-er part of her life and was a member of the Ogden tabernacle choir ai the time of her death. The local chair furnished five numbers of the musical programme of the service this afternoon and there were alo solos bv Mrs. Agnes Warner and Mrs. Myrtle Hlgley. Evan Stephens, director of the Salt Iake tabernacle choir, was one of the speakers. Other speaker were Heber J. Grant of Salt Lake and D. O. McKay of this city. The opening prayer was offered by Aha Scovtlle and the benediction bene-diction by WUlard BcOWCTOft, president of the Ogden choir. The grave in Ogden Og-den City cemetery was dedicated by George Shorten. |
