Show BIG TASK AHEAD OF COUNTY ASSESSOR Because of the tremendous amount of work entailed in changing the methods of tax valuation, as provided for in the new law fixing an actual cash valuation, A. H. Parsons, county assessor, has begun be-gun already to re-check property in Salt Lake county. He estimates that there are 22,500 parcels of property in the county which must be re-figured before next year's valuations can be made. Even by re-checkine re-checkine 100 parcels a day 225 days will be required to complete the work. It is probable that the assessor will have to ask the county commission for extra help. |
