Show GIVE UP HOPE OF . IDENTIFYING BODIES HONOLULU, Sept. The cleariag of debris from the submarine F-4, whieh WU lost outside Honolulu bar bor March 25 with alT hands, and which was raised reoenth and is now in dry dock here, is practically completed. The hull will be towed to Pearl harbor to awaitf such disposition as the navy department de-partment may order. Little hope is entertained of further identifications of the bodies of the twenty-two nien who perished in the submarine, most of the remains being unrecognizable fragments. The officials in charge of the F-4 operations are reticent regarding the significance of the conditions thir in vestigation revealed and refer all inquiries in-quiries to Washington. |
