Show AMERICAN CON. CO. DRIVING TUNNEL Developments within the last month on the propertv of the American Consolidated Consoli-dated Copper company, the claims of which are located in the South fork of Big Cottonwood and which adjoin the Cardiff property, are very encouraging, according to reports received by Attorney James W. Mc Kinney. The property is being- prospected by a tunnel which has been driven for a distance dis-tance of more than 1000 feet, its objective being the fissure vein which can be traced on the surface for a distance of 7000 feet. Indications in the breast of the tunnel point to the nearness of a lead-silver lead-silver ore body, with f-ome gold values. The management expects to open a large ore body when the fissure is cut by the tunnel. Approximately 400 acres of mining ground comprise the holdings of the company. com-pany. High-grade ore has been found on the eurface which has lead to the tunnel being driven in order to cut the ore-bearing fissure at depth. The work is under the supervision of John Branborg and the management in planning an extensive campaign of dtvelupnieiu work during the coming year. |
