Show COUNTY BOARD MEETS. Considers Bids for Bridges; Authorizes Steel Culverts. Special to The Tribune. BRIG HAM CITY. Dec. 9. The recent meetings of the board of county commissioners commis-sioners are conspicuous for the large amount of business disposed of at each meeting. Tho board la endeavoring to clean the slate preparatory to the Inauguration In-auguration of the new commissioners on the first of the year. C. G. Adney of Corinne asked the board (f the 1913 state road tax could be applied on the state road in their precinct at this time, and was Informed that the proposition proposi-tion would be urged on the state road commission. The county authorized the Installation of a number of steel culverts In the Portage precinct. H. Johnson, deputy road supervisor Cor the East Garland Gar-land precinct, asked for an appropriation for tne grading of three miles of road in that precinct. Commissioners T. H. Blackburn, John F. Coni ey and Commissioner-elect Albert Holmgren and Assessor Lorenzo Pett were appointed delegates to attend the tax conference con-ference to be held in Salt Lake City, commencing December 17. |
