Show LABOR MEN RESOLVE TO IffiTi LIBEL Will Purchase Only Merchandise Mer-chandise Bearing Official Union Stamp. A resolution to buy only products bearing the union label' was unanimously adopted at the meeting of the members of tho Union Label h'auo held last night at the Labor temple. Thirty-five unions were represented at the meeting meet-ing and the big hall was crowded. There was no friction, and it was the sentiment throughout the meeting that tho time had arrived for a vigorous campaign in behalf of union-made products. prod-ucts. As far as possible all products will be bought in Salt Lake. That is, all com mod it ies will be bought hero providing pro-viding thev bear tho union label. The products that 'cannot be purchased here bearing union labels will be bought I from the Union Label Mail Order house in New York. This institution was organized or-ganized bv labor unions and is supported support-ed by them, nnd nothing but union label la-bel goods are ha ndled. I The feeling was especially stroug at the meeting when a. communication ! f rom the Broom Makers' union was read j saying that liu per cent of the brooms now on the market were made iu the state prisons. Knerr, chairman; John Brooks, representing the building laborers; Percy Scale, representing the teamsters; team-sters; M. ,1.
