Show KANSAS EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK IN ZION Governor Capper Will Address Natives of Sunflower State Now in Salt Lake. Governor Arthur Capper of Kansas has accepted the invitation to speak at the annual banquet of tbe Kansas club of Salt Lake at its annual banquet, which will be given at the Hotel Utah during the latter part of May. In a letter received yesterday by Glen Miller, Mil-ler, president of the Kansas club, Governor Gov-ernor Capper signified bis acceptance of the invitation. Tbe annual banquet is the big event of the rear with the former residents of the Sunflower state, and to make it complete Governor Capper was invited as tbe guest of honor and the principal' speaker. Governor Capper said that be and his staff would stop in Salt Lake during the latter part of May on the way to San Francisco to attend the Kansas day celebration at tbe Panama-Pacific Panama-Pacific exposition and would be pleased to attend the affair if the date could be conveniently arranged. The date' of the banquet has not yet been selected, but will be named as soon as it is learned when Mr. Capper will be here. In addition to being the chief executive of bis state Governor Capper is editor and proprietor of the Topeka Capital and several other papers. |
