Show FEDERAL PRISONER IS BROUGHT HERE Clarence Franklin, alias Harry Miller, Mil-ler, was brought to Salt Lake vebler-day vebler-day from Spokane, Wash., by Deputy United States IMarshaj Anderson of the eastern district of Washington, to answer an indictment returned against him last Novcmbor under tho "whil-o slave' law. Franklin 3b charged with having induced in-duced Gladys Hartnian of Salt Lake to leave here for Elv. Nov., on April 2-1, 1912, for immoral purposes, and also with huving purchased for her a railroad rail-road ticket from this city to Ely. He wus examined in ' Spokano by United States Gonimisfciotior D. M. Crow, who held Franklin in the sum of $3000 for his appearance in Salt Lake on Fcbrnar' 11. Franklin was committed to na.il in Spokano until removed re-moved to this citv on a properly executed exe-cuted ordor of removal. |
