E- McGovcrn In removing. Insurance Commissioner Herman L. Bkern on the grounds of political activity, "unwarranted "unwar-ranted and arbitrary." The senate exonerated Ekern of the charges of political activity In violation of the lnw under which he waa appointed and refused to confirm the appointment of Ij. A., Anderson, whom Governor Mc-Govem Mc-Govem had selected to succeed Ekern. The senate's action followed a two days hearing before the upper house. Following the action of the senate In refusing to confirm the appointment of Anderson. Governor McGovorn reappointed reap-pointed Mr. Anderson, and will send hl3 j name to the senate on Friday.
