Mrs. O'Looghlin 's homo was formerly in Oakloy, Idaho, but she has lived in Salt Lako long enough to have many friends here. Tho bridegroom is o brother of Walter O'Loughlin, formerly for-merly ivcll kno-wn in local novrsnnper circles, but now traveling for a Paris art publication. Mr. and Mrs. O'Loughlin will be at homo after December De-cember o at tho Hill apartments on F and Third avenue. The marriage is to take placo in the early spring. p m A pretty home wedding of last Tuesday Tues-day was "that of Miss Tcssie Arthur and William Claudo Spencer, which took place at tho home of the brido's mothor, Mrs. S. A. Lemon. Tho cerc-mony cerc-mony was performed by Harrison Sperry, former bishop of the Fourth ward. The rooms were beautifully doc- oratod throughout with palms, smilax and roses. The bride woro a gown ol cream cropo do meteor and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses, Mr and Mrs. Spencer left the following day at noon for California. The brido groom is tho son of Mrs. D. E. Henry, formerly Mrs. William S. Spencer ol this citv. An interesting wedding of tho week was that of Miss Margaret Harrington and Fred Hughes, which took place at 7:30 o'clock the morning of Thanks-eiving Thanks-eiving dav at St. Marv's cathedral, tho Row Tatlier McNally officiating. The young couple wcro attended by Miss '-Catherine Driscoll and .John A. Smith. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast break-fast was served to tho bridal party at the home of the brido's parents, and a reception was hold from 2 to 5 in tho afternoon. Tho house was decorated in smilux nnd white carnations and chrysanthemums. The brido's gown was of white creno de chine trimmed in shadow laco; her veil of white tulle was festooned with orango blossoms blos-soms and she carried a white prayer book. Her bridesmaid was nttirod in a dross of white lace over white satin with a white satin hat trimmed with pink plumes, and carriod a bouquet of white chrvsanthemums. A simple home wedding of Thanksgiving Thanks-giving evenintr was that of Miss Margaret Mar-garet Ilnzel Ellis and George Mundane, which took place in tho presence of their relatives only, at tho homo of the bride's parents. Tho ceremony was performed by the Rev. P. A. Sunpkin, and was not followed by any social function. The voune people will make their homo at Garfield. |
