Even money that a runner does not score after reaching third with only one out. Two to one that a runner does not score from second when he reaches there with one out. Three to one that an ordinary batter does not get to first. Two to one that Cobb, Wagner, Jackson, Jack-son, Baker, Meyers and batters of that class do not get to first In one time at bat. Two to one that a team does not score ln any given Inning. This price sometimes some-times goes as high as four to one, according ac-cording to the pitcher. |
