Show II MOISTS OH THE UD TRAIL Middle West Tourists Make Stop in Garden City, Eri Route to Coast. Special to The Tribune, PROVO, Aug. 2. Another par-ty of Midland trail autolsts reached Provo this afternoon, and while the ultimate turning turn-ing point of tho mombers Is tho Pacific coast line, they find Utah county and Provo attraotlve enough to hold them for a day or two. The tourists are J. P. Whlttaker and C. A. Brool:s of Topeka, Kan.; George A. Buell, Troy, Kan., and Dr. 1-L H. Sherman, Alva, Okla. The party Is traveling ln two Ford cars and made the trip from Grand Junction ln three days. The roads through eastern Utah were yet in poor condition, owing .to the recent storms, but Price canyon, where the citizens of that section did so much good work to open tho trail for the party of Indiana manufacturers, first over the line, was In comparatively good shape, Utah county roads, say tho autolsts, are all that could be desired. The party will leave tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning on their journey to the coast. |
