Chitney. for tho past flvo years superintendent of the Ohio Copper company's concentrator, has tendered his resignation ancl within a weok will leave to look after his extensive ex-tensive private mining interests in Montana. Tonight a largo number of employees and friends gathered at Lark amusement amuse-ment hall, secured the attendance of Mr. Chitney, and 'as a token of their regard, with Harry Keene acting aa spokesman, prosontod the retiring superintendent with an engraved gold watch, field glasses and a complete outfit of fishing tackle. A musical and literary programme pro-gramme and the serving of refreshments added to tho pleasure of the evening. |
