Show WOMAN ALMOST DROWNS. Mrs. Rena B, Maycock of Salt Lake Has Clo3c Call While Swimming. Special to The Tribune. PAYSON Aug. 2. Mrs. Rena B. May-cock May-cock of Salt Lake City narrowly escaped drowning last evening. S-hG was bathing with a, party of young people In the lake at Salem, about three miles from Pay-son. Pay-son. Mr3. Maycock started to swim across tho lake to join the party when her feet became entangled ln some long moss. She held her breath, and reaching down, dlsontangled one foot. After taking tak-ing breath sho liberated tho other foot, but by this timo her strength was gone and she could not rise. Her friends saw her sink the second time and called for assistance. Dr. Curtis of Payson, who was passing pass-ing along the road beside the lake, saw Mrs. Maycock's hand above the wator, dived after her and brought her to shore.
