Show JOHN B. GORDON WILL BE LAID AT REST TODAY The body of .lohu R. Gordon, who died in Los Angeles, Wednesday, arrived In Salt Lake. Saturday. The funeral services serv-ices will he held in the Masonic temple at 2;."0 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The body is at O'Donnell's undertaking establishment, estab-lishment, where It may be seen from 10 o'clock until 1 o'clock: Burial will bo In Mount Olivet cemetery. Mr. Gordon's death was duo to heart failure. Mr. Gordon was a former legislator, a Republican leader and one, of the blgqest land owners in upper Michigan, llo waa aged 58 and leaves a widow and two children, (lordon served In the sessions of 1S0D, 1901. HiOo and 1307 and was ono of tho most striking characters of the Michigan legislature. Since his defeat for re-election In 100S he had been Interested Interest-ed in land and mine property and ae-qulrcd ae-qulrcd some valuable holdings. - lie- left Marciuette several weeks ago for the west. lie was a Canadian by birth, but came ta Michigan when a bov and worked In tho woods.
