COMMENCES IN COURT A hearing was had before Judge Morse on Saturday of the order to show cause why Sheriff Sharp should not be restrained re-strained from selling an automobile belonging be-longing to Mrs, Kitty Hartwlcjc to satisfy a Judgment secured against her husband, Den Unrt'wlck. by Mrs. Danicra Sluur-man. Sluur-man. The sheriff seized tho automobile to satisfy a Judgment of $2500 which Mrs. Stuurman secured against Hnrtwick' for the death of her son, who was killed by tho automobile In question. Mrs. Hnrtwick claimed that tho machine belonged be-longed to her and got out an Injunction to prevent tho sheriff from selling the same. In his attempt to prove that tho automobile auto-mobile belonged lo his wife. Hnrtwick testified before tho court that the license for the machine was In his wlfo's name, but this was ruled out on the ground of incompetency. The hearing of tho matter mat-ter was continued until next Saturday, but the temporary restraining order remains re-mains In force until that time at an? rate. |
