Show RIOTS IN CORK CAUSED BY REDMOND'S CAMPAIGN DUBLIN, Nov. 27. John .Redmonrf's campaign In Cork against William O'Brien has led to serious rioting by the rival factions. Several persons wcro injured in-jured there last night and again tonight. When' a Rcdniondltc procession tried lo inarch through an O'Brlonitc qtiarter of the city, police hlockod their way. Fighting ensued and about eighty persons per-sons were Injured. It is said Mr.. O'Brien has $125,000 at his command and will contest twenty-four twenty-four seats, he himself contesting three, the constituencies of Cork City, East Cork and West Mayo. A great demonstration was held ln Dublin Dub-lin tonight with torcbllshls, bands and fireworks in honor of the return of Joseph Jo-seph Devlin, who addressed an enormous enor-mous crowd on College green on the success suc-cess of his mission in America. |
