Show A NEW COAL YARD; MANY BRUSH FIRES Special to The Tribune. PARK CITY. Sept. 14. The Utah Coal company, under the management of W. D. Lewis, has erected a coal yard at Homer's Spur, In order to enable the people peo-ple from the small towns around Park City to obtain their winter supply of coal without making a long trip to the coal yards here. Five brush fires at Snyderville havo been raging for the last week, and about three square miles of hay land has been devastated. At Tomllnson and Slater's ranch, the loss was over $200. The fires were caused by sparks from a Rio Grande engine Joe Brennan and Miss Marie Collins, two popular young people of this city, were married in Salt Lake City last night. Mr. and Mrs. Brennan returned to Park City today, where they Intend to make their homo. W J. Buck was operated on for cancer of the stomach today at the Park City Miners' hospital. His condition tonight, is slightly Improved, although he Is still very low. Mrs, Jcanette H. Ferry Is very HI at her home In North Park with bronchitis. In spite of her advanced age, her many friends hope for her speedy recovery. Clarence Morgan of this city was Injured In-jured tonight In the Silver Klmr mine While walking through a drift, Morgan accidentally fell Into a chute, dropping about fifty feet He was taken Immediately Immedi-ately to the Miners' hospital, where he Is now resting easy, although besides some bad bruises, It is feared that he Is Injured Internally. |
