Show NEW TRANSFORMER FOR SANDY ELECTRIC LINE Special to The Tribune. SANDY, Sept. 14. The temporary transformer station between Murray and Midvale Is to be replaced by a modern building. The transformers have been Installed, upon a flat car In that vicinity. This, however, will be done away with In about a week, as workmen are already engaged In the work of preparing for tho proposed building. With regard to the traffic at this end of the line, the regular regu-lar schedule is being carried out, a good many people arc availing themselvesof the fact that It is about. "0 cents cheaper to go on the cars than by train, and from Indications the patronage thus far has been exceedingly good. The townspeople down at Draper and Crescent are still desirous that the street car line be extended ex-tended in their direction. A number of petitions have been circulated around in the hamlets In that vicinity, at Jlerrl-man, Jlerrl-man, Bluffdale and Rlverton, while at Mldvale. Sandy and Murray the commercial commer-cial clubs are boosting for the extension with a vim. |
